Job summary

Genea Biomedx in Spain seeks a Software & Hardware Field Service Engineer to install, commission, and support medical devices across Europe. You will configure software/hardware, diagnose issues at customer sites, and coordinate with the China R&D team.

Fluency in Chinese and English is required, Spanish preferred. Proficiency in C++, Qt/QML, and Windows/Linux is needed, with travel across Europe expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in software, medical devices, automation equipment, or a related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Qt/QML with software development and debugging experience.
• Familiarity with Windows/Linux environments and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
• Strong combined software and hardware capabilities and knowledge of device hardware, electrical systems, and communications.
• Experience with PLC, CAN Bus, serial communication, TCP/IP, USB or similar interfaces.
• Fluent Chinese and English; Spanish preferred for customer communication.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and provide on-site and remote technical support for medical devices in Europe.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot software on Windows/Linux platforms using C++/Qt/QML.
• Lead or assist in system integration between software and hardware components including PLCs and motion control.
• Act as technical liaison between European customers/field teams and the China R&D team; collect and report issues.
• Prepare installation, maintenance, test, and service documentation; support CAPA and quality activities.
• Provide customer training and travel across Europe as needed.
