Job summary

PerkinElmer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to build strong client relationships, perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations and upgrades on laboratory instruments. This remote-friendly role is based in Spain and requires field visits to support customers, deliver trainings, and manage service orders with a focus on uptime and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has an engineering degree, 2+ years of experience, driving license, and fluent Spanish and English.

Qualifications

• Engineering or similar mechanical and/or electrical technical degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience.
• Driving license.
• Experience with databases.
• Customer oriented.
• Both independent as well as the ability to work in a team.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and CRM.
• Languages: Fluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Uphold a professional relationship with the client and ensure proper functioning and maintenance of instruments.
• Support users to utilize devices effectively and plan maintenance and service activities.
• Sell software upgrades, consumables, and service contracts to existing customers.
• Plan and execute on-site maintenance, installations and repairs; manage service orders.
