Job summary

RADIO MINDANAO NETWORK, INC. is seeking a Media Research Officer to manage and conduct research studies supporting station operations and MMV sales/marketing with data-driven insights.

The role covers planning, data generation, processing, report writing, post-evaluation and monitoring of projects. You will ensure smooth implementation and timely completion within budget, collaborating with leadership and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Research, Sociology, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
• 5–6 years of qualitative and quantitative research experience across design, data gathering, processing and analysis, dissemination.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; proficient in Excel and statistical tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research for RMN Networks Operations.
• Interpret data and present reports to internal and external clients.
• Coordinate with third-party research subcontractors and oversee fieldwork activities and projects.
• Prepare methodologies, questionnaires, write and discuss research proposals for station needs.
• Prepare, request and liquidate budgets for each research project.
• Prepare fieldwork instructions and sample structures for each research project.
• Monitor field briefing, operations and progress.
• Prepare coding and punching instructions and tabulation specifications for data processing and analysis.
• Manage day-to-day field work and operations, ensuring projects are completed on time.
• Seek resources/assistance and ensure project execution within schedule and budget.
• Regularly review systems and procedures to improve productivity and cost efficiency.
• Extraction and data mining from various research tools, including Kantar and Nielsen media.
• Build and maintain research databases.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.
