A Mechanical Engineer position focused on facility mechanical systems management, monitoring, and maintenance. The role involves overseeing HVAC, pumps, compressors, and exhaust systems, with responsibility for data collection, analysis, preventive maintenance, and system improvements to support facility and production requirements.
Key responsibilities
Monitor and collect data on mechanical systems (HVAC, pumps, compressors, exhaust)
Daily update and analysis of mechanical utility consumption
Assess and prepare mechanical system maintenance
Analyse preventive maintenance inspection and test results
Conduct mechanical system trouble analysis and improvement
Review and update equipment schedules, P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), and ducting/piping layouts
Review design and installation based on as-built documentation and plans
Modify mechanical systems to support facility and production requirements
Prepare and update mechanical system SOPs, PM checklists, and system documents
Ensure compliance and develop mechanical safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and pressure vessel safety training programs
About you
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering)
At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, preferably in facility management
Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
