The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, installing, testing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment. The role ensures the reliability, efficiency, safety, and compliance of mechanical assets while supporting engineering projects, maintenance activities, and operational improvements.
Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical reports
Review and evaluate mechanical designs for compliance with applicable standards and requirements
Participate in feasibility studies, project planning, and cost estimation
Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of mechanical engineering projects
Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders
Monitor project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
Conduct inspections and assessments of mechanical equipment
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Troubleshoot mechanical failures and recommend corrective actions
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, or construction projects
Knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Familiarity with HVAC, pumps, compressors, generators, boilers, and piping systems
Experience in preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, or similar CAD software
Understanding of engineering standards, codes, and regulations
Ability to perform engineering calculations and technical analysis
Knowledge of root cause analysis and reliability engineering
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
