Transitions seeks a Batching Plant Engineer to join a dynamic team for projects in the Bicol Region, Philippines. The role reports to the CEO and focuses on planning, preparing, and monitoring concrete production to meet quality standards while ensuring preventive maintenance of plant equipment.

Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree with a license preferred, plus 5 years in a similar role at reputable firms and QA/QC experience in ready-mix batching plants.

Qualifications

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage.
• Five years of experience in the same position from a reputable construction firm.
• Experience in QA/QC is a plus for batching plants.

Batching Plant Engineer - Construction Firm, Bicol Region, Philippines

A local construction firm, with projects in the Bicol Region, is in need of a Batching Plant Engineer to join its dynamic team. The successful candidate, directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, will be responsible in planning, preparing, and monitoring of concrete production in accordance to the set standards. Likewise, the position will be responsible in the preventive maintenance of the fleet equipment and plant machineries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is an advantage
• Five (5) years experience in the same position from a reputable construction firm
• Experience in QA/QC, preferably in a ready-mix concrete or batching plant, relative to heavy infrastructure projects is a plus
• Knowledgeable in concrete mix design, laboratory testing, and quality standards
• Background in handling logistics, and moving large quantities of construction supplies and equipment
• Possesses keen eye for details
• Excellent management and leadership skills, analytical, and goal oriented
• Willingness to be assigned in Masbate during the duration of the project, and be assigned in other projects located across the country
