The role involves calculations, CAD documentation, and collaboration with production and quality teams to improve efficiency and safety across our manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of professional mechanical design/manufacturing experience.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and machine design.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems for printing and eco-packaging machinery.
• Conduct feasibility studies and equipment upgrades.

VOION KANE PRINTING ECO PACKING (PHILIPPINES) INC. is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Santo Tomas City, Batangas on a full-time basis. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems, equipment, and components for printing and eco-packaging machinery

• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new production processes and equipment upgrades

• Perform detailed calculations, modelling, and simulations to ensure optimal mechanical performance and safety standards

• Collaborate with production teams to troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation utilising CAD software and industry-standard tools

• Oversee equipment installation, testing, and commissioning to ensure compliance with design specifications

• Conduct regular maintenance assessments and recommend improvements to enhance equipment longevity and performance

• Ensure all mechanical systems comply with relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality, and procurement to support operational objectives

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimisation without compromising quality or sustainability

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from a recognised institution

• Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design, manufacturing, or equipment engineering

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent design tools

• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, thermodynamics, materials science, and machine design

• Experience with printing machinery, packaging equipment, or similar industrial systems is highly desirable

• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering standards

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical challenges

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Filipino language proficiency is advantageous

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment whilst managing independent projects

• Knowledge of sustainability principles and eco-friendly manufacturing practices is preferred

• Professional Engineer (PE) licence or relevant certifications are advantageous
