Job summary

Pioneer Square Brands is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to drive design and development across concept to production. You will work with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver robust mechanical solutions.

The role requires CAD expertise, attention to detail and a proactive approach to analyzing manufacturing processes. Night shift will be part of a hybrid schedule based in Pasig.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing.
• Proficiency with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape or similar.
• Basic understanding of materials, mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of injection molding, tooling, machining or assembly is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products.
• Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings and specifications.
• Assist with product testing and validation.
• Apply basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes.
• Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs and test reports.
• Review CAD files and engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness and compliance with standards.
• Perform detailed proof of checks of CAD drawings and models prior to tooling release.

About the role:

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who will work closely with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development process, from concept and prototyping to testing and production.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products
• Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications
• Assist with product testing and validation
• Apply basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes
• Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners

• Support tooling, sampling, and production readiness activities
• Review CAD files and engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Perform detailed proof of checks of CAD drawings and models to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances prior to tooling release, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections with design engineers.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing
• Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with processes such as injection molding, tooling, machining, or assembly is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift following a hybrid work arrangement at Silver City, Pasig
