Job summary

Pioneer Square Brands is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer in Pasig, Philippines to work with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams from concept through production.

You will create 2D/3D CAD models, support testing, apply DFM/DFA, assist material selection, and help resolve design and manufacturing issues while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Onshape.
• Understanding of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of injection molding, tooling, machining, or assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products.
• Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with product testing and validation.
• Apply basic DFM and DFA principles.
• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes.
• Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and partners.
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs and test reports.
• Support tooling, sampling, and production readiness activities.
• Review CAD files and drawings for accuracy and standards compliance.
• Perform detailed proof checks of CAD drawings to verify tolerances before tooling release.

Title: Mechanical Engineer

Location: Silver City, Pasig (Night Shift, Onsite)

About The Role

We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who will work closely with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development process, from concept and prototyping to testing and production.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products
• Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications
• Assist with product testing and validation
• Apply basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles
• Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes
• Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners
• Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs and test reports
• Support tooling, sampling, and production readiness activities
• Review CAD files and engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards.
• Perform detailed proof of checks of CAD drawings and models to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances prior to tooling release, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections with design engineers.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing
• Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or similar tools
• Basic understanding of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes
• Familiarity with processes such as injection molding, tooling, machining, or assembly is an advantage
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift following a hybrid work arrangement at Silver City, Pasig
