Private Advertiser in Metro Manila is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support cargo fleet and equipment. You will assist in preventive maintenance scheduling, monitor inspections, document defects, and compile breakdown reports to improve reliability.
Responsibilities include coordinating with drivers and mechanics, ensuring roadworthiness, conducting post-repair inspections, and contributing to cost control and safety compliance. Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
Assist in implementing the preventive maintenance schedule for:
Trucks and hauling equipment
Bulk carriers
Heavy equipment
Generators
Compressors, pumps, motors and related mechanical equipment
Monitor scheduled preventive maintenance and ensure that units are presented for inspection on time.
Conduct basic mechanical inspection and identify signs of:
Abnormal wear
Oil/fluid leaks
Overheating
Unusual noise or vibration
Brake problems
Clutch/transmission issues
Suspension problems
Tire and wheel-related concerns
Maintain an updated preventive maintenance monitoring system for all assigned equipment.
Recommend replacement or repair of components based on actual condition and maintenance history.
Conduct regular inspection of company vehicles and equipment.
Assist in checking the roadworthiness and operating condition of trucks before deployment.
Verify critical components such as:
Engine
