• Perform advanced diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and related equipment
• Inspect engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, and hydraulics
• Identify mechanical and electrical issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety regulations and company maintenance standards
• Supervise, mentor, and provide technical support to junior mechanics
• Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and repair records
• Coordinate with operations and fleet management regarding vehicle availability and repair timelines
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities
• Respond to emergency breakdowns when necessary
• Promote a safe and clean working environment at all times
