Job summary

Riviera Golf Club, Inc. in Silang, Cavite is seeking an experienced Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet and equipment. This full-time role ensures reliable operations, safety, and member satisfaction through well-maintained vehicles and gear.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, and electrical systems while keeping detailed service records. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in automotive engineering.
• Strong knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical and hydraulic components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and high-quality workmanship.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis at our facility in Silang, Cavite. This is a critical position that plays an essential role in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our fleet and mechanical equipment. As Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of vehicles and equipment to the highest standards, ensuring our operations run smoothly and safely. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our competitive advantage and ensuring member satisfaction through reliable equipment and facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles and mechanical equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
• Diagnose mechanical faults and problems using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge, and implement appropriate repair solutions
• Carry out repairs and replacements of mechanical components including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems and electrical systems
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all vehicles and equipment serviced
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan
• Communicate effectively with management regarding equipment condition, repair requirements and any safety concerns
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and organisation, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a mechanic or in automotive engineering, with demonstrated expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair
• Strong knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulic components
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment commonly used in automotive maintenance
• Relevant technical certifications or qualifications in automotive or mechanical engineering
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to occasionally operate vehicles as required
• Physical capability to perform manual labour and lift heavy components safely
• Knowledge of workplace safety practices and regulations
