About the role

We are seeking a Mechanic Helper to join our automotive service team at GJH SERCONS, INC. in Maguyam, Silang, Cavite. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our experienced mechanics and ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop. As a Mechanic Helper, you will assist in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles, contributing directly to the quality of service we provide to our customers. This hands‑on role is perfect for individuals looking to develop their skills in the automotive trades while working in a professional and collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist experienced mechanics in diagnosing vehicle problems and performing repairs on various vehicle types and systems
• Support mechanics in routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, tyre rotations, and fluid top-ups
• Clean and prepare vehicles and work areas in accordance with workshop standards and safety requirements
• Organise and maintain tools and equipment in the workshop, ensuring they are properly stored and readily accessible
• Fetch and deliver parts and materials to mechanics as required throughout the working day
• Perform basic mechanical tasks under the supervision of senior mechanics, such as removing and reinstalling components
• Support the workshop team in ensuring vehicles are serviced efficiently and to the highest standard
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used as directed by management
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the workshop at all times
