About the role We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Auto Mechanic to join the team at WRN Health Incorporated. This is a full-time position based in Davao City, Davao del Sur. As an Auto Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our vehicle fleet, ensuring that all vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will be essential in keeping our operations running smoothly and supporting the mobility needs of our organization.
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and tire rotations.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair and replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems and electrical systems
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation for all maintenance and repairs completed.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Liaise with supervisors and other team members to prioritize repair schedules and manage vehicle downtime.
Keep the workshop clean and organized, and maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Assist with training and mentoring of junior mechanics where appropriate
Proven experience as an Auto Mechanic, with a minimum of 2-3 years in the automotive trades industry
Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, scanners and mechanical equipment
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver's license and ability to operate various vehicle types
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive mechanics (or willingness to obtain them)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate service records
Physical fitness and ability to work in a workshop environment, lifting heavy components and working in various positions
Knowledge of vehicle safety standards and regulations
Excellent communication skills and professionalism when interacting with colleagues and supervisors
