We are looking for a highly skilled experienced Chief Mechanic to lead our maintenance team and ensure the efficient operation of all company vehicles, machinery, and equipment. The Chief Mechanic will be responsible for supervising mechanics, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing and overseeing repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to maintain high safety and quality standards.
The Chief Mechanic will also coordinate with management regarding maintenance schedules, recommend improvements for operational efficiency, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs, including preventive maintenance on vehicles, machinery, and equipment.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with diesel engines and other mechanical systems.
Identify necessary parts, tools, and resources required to complete repairs efficiently.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of service reports, maintenance logs, and other shop paper works.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
Willing and able to work at Meycauayan, Bulacan and various project sites across Luzon and Visayas.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, related vocational/technical course (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Chief Mechanic, Head Mechanic, or similar supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of vehicle, equipment, and machinery repair and maintenance.
Ability to diagnose complex mechanical and technical issues.
Hands-on experience in managing preventive maintenance programs.
Leadership and team management skills with the ability to supervise mechanics effectively.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Willing to work flexible hours and adapt to operational needs.
Certification in automotive or mechanical system is an advantage.
