Job summary

General Metal Container Corporation of the Philippines (GEMECO) in Quezon City is seeking a Mechanic to perform machine setup, troubleshoot, repair, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has formal training in automotive/mechanical technology, experience in machine maintenance, and is willing to work rotating shifts with overtime pay. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Automotive Technology/ Mechanical Technology or related vocational course.
• Knowledgeable in assembly, troubleshooting/ maintenance and overhauling of machines.
• Willing to undergo training and physically fit.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules with overtime pay.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; high school graduates with experience will be considered.

Job Summary:

Conducts Machine Set-up, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service minimizing downtime and maintaining productivity and efficiency. Ensuring machines performance and provide suggestions/ recommendations that will further improve production run.

Qualifications Standard:

• Graduate of Automotive Technology/ Mechanical Technology or related vocational course
• Knowledgeable in assembly, troubleshooting/ maintenance and overhauling of machines
• Willing to undergo training, physically fit
• Willing to work on shifting schedules (with overtime pay)
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, high school graduates with experience will also be considered.
