Job summary

GEMECO, a packaging company in Quezon City, manufactures tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, and vegetables. We seek a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer with 2+ years' manufacturing experience to analyze operations and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will prepare production reports, ensure quality and deadlines, and collaborate across departments to optimize processes while drafting new instructions and maintaining a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PRC license (preferred).
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot a wide range of manufacturing issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure consistent production quality while meeting customer requirements and deadlines.
• Lead and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain detailed production reports.
• Collaborate with various departments to optimize production processes.
• Implement department policies and procedures, including drafting new work instructions and operational guidelines.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve departmental goals and maintain a positive work environment.
