Job summary

International Automotive Components (IAC) Group seeks a Materials & Logistics Coordinator to manage MRP planning, material requirements, and timely supply in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, and Suppliers to optimize stock, lead times, and compliance.

The role involves monitoring suppliers, driving planning scenarios, and contributing to KPI development and process improvements across planning and logistics.

Qualifications

• Develop and monitor short-, medium- and long-term material requirements planning (MRP).
• Analyse and manage raw material requirements.
• Ensure timely supply in line with customer schedules (EDI, releases, forecasts).
• Monitor and adjust stock levels to prevent production stoppages, obsolete stock and excess inventory.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality, Suppliers.
• Monitor critical suppliers, lead times and deviations.
• Lead actions in response to supply risks, shortages or changes in demand.
• Participate in new project launches, securing materials for testing, pilot runs and mass production.
• Analyse demand variations and develop planning scenarios.
• Ensure FIFO, batch, expiry and traceability policies.
• Participate in audits (IATF, clients).
• Develop and present KPIs for the department.
• Propose and implement improvements to planning and logistics processes.
• Train or mentor junior planners.
• Schedule pick-ups.
• Liaise with logistics agents and customs officials.
• Manage actions to achieve logistics KPIs.

Responsibilities

Technical skills

• MRP / ERP (SAP, QAD, Oracle or other).
• Automotive software (EDI, releases, forecasting).
• Demand planning.
• Inbound and outbound logistics.
• Inventory and warehouse control.
• Incoterms and transport (desirable).
• IATF 16949 requirements focused on the supply chain.
• Advanced Excel / data analysis.

Experiences:
Requieres:

• -2 to 5 years’ experience in:
• -Materials planning
• -Automotive logistics
• -Experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 or Tier 2).
• -Experience in plastic injection moulding or continuous manufacturing is desirable.
