Job summary

GHD is seeking a skilled Materials Engineer to support marine and materials projects and manage small to medium-size engagements. The role will involve leading assessments, developing repair and protection strategies, and preparing technical deliverables. The candidate should have 5+ years in materials engineering and may hold a PRC license.

Hybrid work from Makati or Quezon City is offered. The position balances technical leadership with client engagement, proposal support, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in materials engineering, asset integrity, or related fields.
• Experience in inspection, assessment, and remediation of existing assets and structures.
• Experience with cathodic protection systems, protective coatings, or corrosion mitigation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver materials engineering assessments including durability and asset integrity.
• Develop remediation, repair, life extension, and corrosion protection solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and client deliverables.
• Analyze materials data and support site investigations and project delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support business development.
