Job summary

Dempsey Resource Management Inc. is seeking a seasoned Materials & Supply Chain Leader to oversee supplier accreditation, procurement, inbound logistics, and warehouse management for all raw materials and packaging materials.

You will ensure that high-quality materials are sourced, transported, stored efficiently, and issued to the production team to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations. The role requires 10+ years in material management and a managerial role, with strong knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Logistics.
• At least 10 years of experience in material management, supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.
• At least 10 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in a manufacturing company, preferably food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of material planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing, and supplier management.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Description

Oversee supplier accreditation, procurement, inbound logistics, and warehouse management

Ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and supplies.

Monitor inventory levels, stock movements, and material requirements.

Manage minimum, maximum, and safety stock levels.

Coordinate with Purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree related to Business Administration, Operations Management, and Logistics.

At least 10 years of experience in material management, supply chain, procurement,

inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations.

At least 10 years of experience in a managerial role.

Preferably with experience in a manufacturing company, preferably food manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of material planning, inventory management, procurement, warehousing,

and supplier management.

Experienced in ERP or inventory management systems.

analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000, and food safety requirements is an advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Willing to work on-site and conduct fieldwork, while coordinating closely with Production,

Purchasing, Warehouse, Quality Assurance (QA), Finance, and other relevant departments.
