Job summary

Private Advertiser in Metro Manila is seeking an experienced supply planning professional to lead a team of material planners and ensure timely delivery of raw and packaging materials. The role involves end-to-end planning, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in managerial supply planning, with exposure to advanced planning tools such as Blue Yonder, and strong communication and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in supply planning or materials requirement planning in a managerial capacity.
• Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., Blue Yonder) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of raw and packaging material planners.
• Develop and review monthly material supply plans using production forecasts, inventory, and open POs.
• Optimize inventory to balance availability with cost, especially for high-MOQ and short shelf-life items.
• Coordinate with 150–200 local and international suppliers to schedule deliveries.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure alignment of supply plans with production.
• Manage shelf life and reduce waste through proactive strategies.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage team.Manage raw and packaging material planners and ensure to meet expected deliverables and metrics

• Materials Planning and Management: Review and create a monthly material supply plan using inputs from production forecasts, current inventory, and open purchase orders (POs). Manage the end-to-end supply plan for key raw and packaging materials.

• Inventory Optimization: Proactively manage materials with high MOQs, short shelf lives, and long lead times to balance product availability with inventory cost targets.

• Supplier Coordination: Manage relationships and coordinate with a network of 150-200 local and international suppliers to schedule deliveries.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Shelf Life Management: Implement strategies to minimize waste and ensure the effective use of short shelf life materials.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Management related field.

• A minimum of two years of experience in supply planning and/or materials requirement planning in a managerial capacity. Experience using an advanced planning system like Blue Yonder is highly desirable.

• Must possess above-average written and verbal communication skills , a high level of critical thinking, and the ability to view situations and issues holistically. The ideal candidate works well with different teams and is skilled in managing complex data and supply chain variables
