Job summary

Fibercom Telecom Phils., Inc. is seeking a Material Controller to manage inventory, receipts, storage, and issuing of materials. The role ensures accurate labeling, timely material availability, and adherence to quality standards.

You will track usage, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports to support operations. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or college level education, at least 1 year in material control, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college level is required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in material control or inventory management.
• Experience with ERP or material management software is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to lift 15–20 kg of stock materials.
• Can start ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the right amount of materials for operations.
• Oversee receipt, storage, and issuing of materials.
• Ensure materials are properly labeled and organized.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure inventory levels are accurate.
• Track material usage and report any discrepancies.
• Keep records of stock movements and transactions.
• Prepare and submit material-related reports.
• Ensure all material transactions are documented correctly.
• Create material reconciliation forms as needed.
• Work with the team to ensure timely material availability.
• Communicate material shortages or needs to relevant departments.
• Inspect materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental regulations in material handling.
• Address any material issues or discrepancies and resolve them.
• Use material management systems to track inventory and transactions.
• Keep material records up-to-date in the system.
• Suggest improvements to material handling and inventory processes.
• Work with management to reduce costs and improve material flow.
