Doublewin Aluminum Industry Corp is seeking a Material Controller to monitor, receive, store, issue, and track materials for aluminum and glass projects on site.
You will ensure accurate records, coordinate with Procurement and Site teams, perform regular stock counts, and report shortages or discrepancies promptly.
The Material Controller is responsible for monitoring, receiving, storing, issuing, and controlling materials used for the company's aluminum and glass projects. The position ensures that materials are properly documented, available when needed, stored safely, and accurately tracked from delivery to project/site usage.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of all incoming, outgoing, and transferred materials.
Receive and inspect delivered materials against the Purchase Order (PO), Delivery Receipt (DR), Material Request (MR), and approved specifications.
Check the quantity, description, size, color, specification, and condition of materials upon delivery.
Coordinate with Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, Project Engineers, and Site Personnel regarding material requirements and deliveries.
Monitor material requirements based on project schedules and ensure materials are available before the scheduled installation or production.
Prepare and process material issuance based on approved Material Requests.
Maintain updated stock cards, inventory monitoring sheets, material logs, and other related records.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stocks against recorded quantities.
Track material movement from warehouse to project site and from site back to warehouse, when applicable.
Immediately report shortages, excess materials, damaged items, wrong deliveries, and discrepancies to the concerned department.
Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related course.
Experience in the construction, aluminum, glass, fabrication, or architectural industry is an advantage.
Knowledge of construction and aluminum/glass materials is an advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office applications.
Knowledge of inventory monitoring and material documentation.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
