Operations Manager – Rural Bank (Quezon)

Overview

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily banking operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, compliance with regulations, internal controls, and overall branch performance. The role ensures that operational processes run smoothly while supporting the bank’s financial and customer service goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Operations Supervision

• Oversee daily branch operations (deposits, withdrawals, remittances, loan processing)
• Ensure accuracy of transactions and proper documentation
• Monitor teller and back-office activities

2. Compliance & Internal Control

• Ensure compliance with regulations of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas
• Implement internal control procedures and risk management policies
• Prepare for internal and external audits

3. Staff Management

• Supervise operations staff (tellers, bookkeepers, cashiers)
• Conduct training and performance evaluations
• Enforce company policies and procedures
• Monitor cash flow and vault management
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly reports
• Ensure proper reconciliation of accounts

5. Customer Service & Process Improvement

• Address operational issues and customer concerns
• Improve workflow efficiency and service turnaround time
• Maintain high service standards

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Accountancy, or related field

Experience
