Job summary

Global Process Manager Inc. is seeking a skilled crew planning professional to manage recruitment, crew scheduling, and fleet personnel operations.

Ensure compliance with STCW, MLC 2006, flag states, and vessel requirements, while coordinating with Manning Agents and ship Masters. You will handle travel arrangements, payroll monitoring, and maintenance of crew records, liaising across departments to keep crew movement and documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or certificate in a maritime-related field, shipping, or human resources.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in maritime recruitment, crew planning, or fleet personnel operations.
• Strong verbal and written English for coordinating with multinational crews, ship Masters, and port agents.
• High attention to detail for managing travel logistics, medical/training certifications, and compliance tracking.

Responsibilities

• Select Officers and Ratings as necessary.
• Ensure seafarers comply with STCW, MLC 2006, Flag States and vessel requirements.
• Process flag state documents and visas as required.
• Make travel arrangements for crew to join and leave the vessel, liaising with Manning Agents.
• Monitor the efficiency of sea staff via the appraisal system.
• Schedule Officers and Ratings joining and leaving the vessel.
• Administer the vessel's mail and crew supplies.
• Monitor payroll for assigned vessels.
• Maintain and monitor crew records and vessel correspondence.
• Update crew and movement lists in crewing management system.
• Update databases with crew-related records including appraisals, certificates, contracts.
• Check and approve invoices/disbursements related to crewing.
• Liaise with other departments and Manning Agencies.
• Monitor compliance with mandatory and Company/Owners requirements.
• Coordinate with Safety and Insurance Department on P&I cases.
• Assist in crew P&I claims and ensure proper records.
