Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Sr. Manager, Human Resources Operations to lead and optimize all aspects of crew onboarding, documentation processing, and employee services for seafarers across global operations.

The role focuses on driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance with international maritime regulations (MLC, STCW), and collaborating with shipboard and shoreside stakeholders to meet KPIs and workforce deployment needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Maritime Operations, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in crew management, onboarding, or operations, preferably in cruise or maritime industry.
• Strong knowledge of maritime regulations (MLC, STCW, flag state requirements).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead onboarding strategy aligned with KPIs.
• Lead and develop onboarding specialists and documentation coordinators.
• Oversee end-to-end onboarding including documentation, medical clearances, visa/work permits, and compliance checks.
