Job summary

KSearch Asia Consulting, Inc. seeks a senior Marine Asset Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee maintenance of marine and structural assets in the Philippines.

You will coordinate inspections, surveys, and certificate renewals with MARINA, PCG, and Classification Societies. Responsibilities include planning, inspecting, and supervising hulls, jetties, mooring facilities, and related structures, plus managing maintenance execution and safety/compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of related marine industry experience.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience.
• At least 1 year of drydocking/ship repairs.

The client is the biggest power generation company in the Philippines. Owning hydroelectric, geothermal, solar and thermal facilities to provide sustainable energy needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• • Ensure full regulatory and statutory compliance of all marine assets by coordinating inspections, surveys, and certificate renewals with MARINA, PCG, and Classification Societies.
  • Plan, inspect, and maintain marine and structural assets (hulls, jetties, mooring and breasting dolphins, berthing facilities) to ensure structural integrity and seaworthiness.
  • Lead and supervise marine inspections and maintenance activities, including annual structural and hull tank inspections, working closely with contractors, divers, and external service providers.
  • Manage marine and structural maintenance execution by generating, prioritizing, and closing work orders in Maximo, and overseeing contractor performance and work quality.
  • Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, including material procurement and spare parts inventory, to minimize downtime and operational risk.
  • Ensure safety, environmental, and permit-to-work compliance across all marine and structural activities, including waste management and emergency response readiness.

  Prepare technical, inspection, and incident reports, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions for marine-related incidents.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Professional: At least 5 years related experience in the marine industry, shipyard repairs and maintenance, ship building.
• Leadership Experience: Must have at least 2-3 years leadership experience.
• Project Experience: At least 1 year drydocking/ship repairs
