Job summary

CDO Foodsphere, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Excellence Manager to drive environmental, safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement across its manufacturing operations. You will lead regulatory compliance, strengthen efficiency, and foster a proactive culture of accountability and excellence.

You will guide governance, prepare budgets, mentor a high‑performing team, and collaborate with plant operations and regulators to implement TPM, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives.

Qualifications

• Licensed engineer in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Industrial fields.
• 5–10 years in manufacturing operations, environmental management, safety, or continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, safety standards, audit systems, and compliance.
• Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, training, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work with plant operations teams and government regulators.
• Certified Safety Officer or equivalent certifications is an advantage.
• Certified in TPM, Lean Manufacturing, or Six Sigma deployment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills; engaging with senior management and the board.
• Strategic and systems thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental processes, systems, procedures, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing plants.
• Develop and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process streamlining, operational efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability.
• Develop and present Safety, and Continuous Improvement strategies to the Executive Committee and the Board of Directors.
• Lead the preparation, forecasting, and presentation of annual Safety, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement operating and capital budget.
• Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for Safety, Sustainability and Continuous Improvement; mentor a high-performing team.
• Review and write reports, approve expenditures, enforce rules, and decide on purchases of materials or services.
