Job summary

Minebea Philippines, Inc. seeks a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to provide hands-on technical support, ensuring machines run smoothly and production stays uninterrupted.

You will troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance, and assist engineers with process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience and a technical/engineering diploma.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering.
• Graduate of a 2–4 year technical, engineering, or related course.
• Experience in manufacturing, machine maintenance, or equipment troubleshooting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend machine downtime and trouble events to minimize downtime.
• Ensure machines run in good condition while in production.
• Perform preventive maintenance and complete PM check sheets.
• Help improve machines to reduce scrap and quality issues.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Support 5S and area improvements.
• Assist engineers and technicians in modification activities.
• Perform visual inspections to prevent breakdowns.

About the role

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician to provide hands-on technical support that helps keep our manufacturing processes and equipment running smoothly, efficiently, and reliably. As a technician, you are responsible for troubleshooting machine and process issues, performing preventive maintenance, supporting equipment improvements, and assisting engineers in implementing process and productivity enhancements. This role is essential in minimizing downtime, maintaining product quality, ensuring production continuity, and improving overall manufacturing performance.

Key responsibilities

• Responsible for attending machine trouble or downtime.
• Ensuring that machines are in good condition while running in production.
• Responsible in preventive maintenance of machine and PM check sheet.
• Responsible in improvement of machine to reduce machine that induced scrap or quality.
• Conduct routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machines and equipment.
• Support improvement and 5S activities of assigned work area.
• Assists technicians and engineers in modification or improvement activities.
• Perform visual inspections to prevent breakdowns.

About you
