Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to lead a team in supporting new product development and process improvements. You will drive DFMA reviews, develop processes, and coordinate prototype builds to validate manufacturability and scale production.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in manufacturing/engineering, strong cross-functional collaboration, and experience with ERP/MRP and CAD tools.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in Manufacturing/Process Engineering or NPI in a manufacturing setting.
Experience in new product development, product transfer, or manufacturing process development.
Knowledge of DFMA principles.
Experience with process development, prototype builds, tooling and equipment validation.
Familiarity with Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, and SOPs.
Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement knowledge.
Experience with root cause analyses (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
Proficient in MS Office; ERP/MRP and CAD an advantage.

Responsibilities

Supervise team of Mfg-Engineering professionals to support new product development for lavs 3.0 deployment.
Collaborate with Product Engineering, Design Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure manufacturing requirements during product development.
Conduct DFMA reviews and provide recommendations to optimize manufacturability, assembly efficiency, quality, and cost.
Develop and validate manufacturing processes, work instructions, process flows, and SOPs.
Plan, coordinate, and execute prototype builds, pilot runs, and engineering trials to validate manufacturing capability.
Design and improve manufacturing processes based on product requirements, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost targets are achieved.
