Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support new product development and manufacturing operations for lavs 3.0. You will analyze layouts, balance lines, and drive continuous improvement across production, warehousing, and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering, 3-5 years in manufacturing, and experience with CAD tools such as AutoCad or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field required.
3–5 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience using CAD software such as AutoCad and SolidWorks.
Knowledge of production processes, material flow, layout and process flows.
Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing and Value Stream Mapping.
Ability to read and understand CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

Layout designs and execution based on SME’s process design and bottleneck analysis.
Review current layout, space requirements, and material flows for improvements.
Develop and recommend efficient layout and flow of people, materials, and equipment.
Implement and execute layout improvement projects.
Perform motion and time studies, line balancing, and resource planning.
Conduct cycle time and takt time analysis.
Standardize processes through Standard Work Procedures and Standard Work Sheets.
Eliminate waste via continuous improvement projects.
Collaborate with production, warehouse, purchasing, facilities, suppliers, and contractors.
Adhere to EH&S practices and safety standards.
