Job summary

Asian Development Bank (ADB) is seeking a Project Analyst (Development Effectiveness) based in Manila to support PSOD's development effectiveness assessment, monitoring, and communications. The role involves formulating impact statements, monitoring frameworks, and conducting economic analyses for private sector projects.

You will contribute to data systems, dashboards, and reporting, working with teams across departments to ensure robust development impact measurement and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, public policy, development studies, statistics, or related fields.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in development effectiveness, development impact assessment, results management, monitoring and evaluation, cost-benefit analysis.
• Knowledge of development effectiveness concepts, additionality, theories of change, results frameworks, development impact measurement, and MDB development impact approaches.
• Good understanding of the project cycle and project processing requirements for private sector operations.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to analyze development issues, project performance, and sector trends.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development effectiveness assessment and project support, including design and monitoring frameworks.
• Formulate indicators and targets to measure development results and ensure quality evidence.
• Contribute to development effectiveness monitoring, analytics, and reporting across PSOD.
• Support data collection, validation, and portfolio-level analyses of development results.
• Prepare reports, presentations, and analytical papers on development effectiveness.
• Support knowledge sharing, lessons learned, and dissemination of best practices.
