Job summary

Alsons Power Group seeks a Mandarin Technical Coordinator to bridge the Owner’s Project Team and Chinese EPC contractors during solar plant construction. You will ensure clear understanding of technical requirements, engineering instructions, and construction activities to meet project expectations.

The role also supports project coordination, technical documentation, and meeting discussions, helping reduce miscommunication, delays, and safety risks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil) preferred.
• 2–3 years of Mandarin-English interpretation or technical coordination experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
• Strong understanding of technical and construction terminology.
• Experience in engineering, construction, EPC, infrastructure or renewable energy advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communication link between Owner’s Project Team and Chinese EPC contractors during solar facility construction.
• Ensure accurate understanding of technical requirements, engineering instructions, construction activities and project expectations.
• Support project coordination, technical documentation and meeting discussions.
• Help minimize miscommunication, delays, safety risks and costly errors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) is highly preferred.
• Degree in Chinese Studies, Linguistics, International Studies, Communication, or related fields may be considered with relevant technical or construction experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in Mandarin-English interpretation or technical coordination.
• Experience in engineering, construction, EPC, infrastructure, or renewable energy is an advantage.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
• Strong understanding of technical and construction terminology.
• Excellent communication, coordination, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.
