Verdant Energy in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Lead and hands-on Technical Manager to guide renewable energy projects from design through commissioning. You will review designs, ensure technical compliance, and lead engineering teams across solar, wind, storage or hybrid systems.

Lead and manage all technical aspects of renewable energy projects, including design, engineering review, and technical due diligence. This role involves reviewing and approving system designs, layouts, specifications, and technical documentation, while coordinating with EPC contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure technical compliance and quality standards.

Provide technical support during commissioning, testing, and handover to operations teams
Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
Ensure compliance with local regulations, grid codes, and international standards
Optimize system performance, efficiency, and long-term reliability
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management
About you
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in renewable energy projects (solar, wind, energy storage, or hybrid systems)
Experience managing utility-scale and/or commercial & industrial (C&I) renewable energy projects
Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies, system design, and industry standards
Strong problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proven experience in technical management, engineering leadership, or project technical oversight
Proficient in engineering and simulation tools relevant to renewable energy systems
Professional engineering license or relevant certifications are an advantage
