Job summary

Reap is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its client-facing technical function. You will work with Sales, clients, Implementation, Customer Growth, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance to move complex clients from discovery to activation.

The role is technical, commercial, and execution-focused, with a focus on APIs, integrations, and customer outcomes. You will help ensure timely activation and real value for high-value clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with APIs, integrations, and webhooks in a client-facing role.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and translate requirements into designs for stakeholders.
• Familiarity with production vs. sandbox environments and data flows.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting enterprise or strategic clients is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pre-sales technical discovery and qualification for enterprise opportunities.
• Translate client requirements into practical design using Reap’s APIs and workflows.
• Identify technical risks, integration complexity, and activation blockers before commitment.
• Help clients move from technical go-live to meaningful activation and value.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance to unblock client journeys.
