Job summary

Accenture in the Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented translation and language QA specialist to act as the interface between clients and systems. You will translate documents from English to a foreign language (Mandarin) and back, both in written form and during meetings as needed.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and QA capabilities, with willingness to work in a service desk environment and to be cross-trained on related business tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a foreign language (Mandarin).
• Experience in customer service, analytical testing, QA testing, or related work.
• Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
• Willing to work holidays, weekends, shifting schedules, and extended hours.

Responsibilities

• Translate documents from English to a foreign language and vice versa.
• Provide interpretation during conferences or meetings with counterparts, clients, and vendors.
• Initiate and implement QA and process improvement activities.
• Assist in capability development of bilingual staff through coaching or language training.
• Research and learn business, tools and technical terminologies.
• Support translation tooling and productivity improvements.
• Cross-train on technical, customer service, financial, or project management tasks.
• Work with teams across diverse groups.
• Work in a service desk setting involving spoken and written communication in a foreign language.
• Contribute on a project as technical support, customer service, or related tasks.
• Other language-related tasks as assigned.
