Job summary

Prince Retail Group of Companies seeks a Management Trainee – Store Operations to develop competencies in sales management, inventory control, and team leadership within our provincial store network.

You will support store leadership to ensure efficient daily operations, excellent customer service, and achievement of business targets through hands-on training in promotions, merchandising, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail, sales, or store operations.
• Supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage.
• Willing to undergo Store Operations Management Training (SOMT) program.
• Willing to be assigned in provincial store operations.

Responsibilities

• Sales & Operations Management: support achievement of sales targets and growth initiatives.
• Inventory & Merchandising: monitor stock levels, inventory control, and merchandising standards.
• Customer Experience: promote a customer-centric culture and high service quality.
• Compliance & Process Management: ensure adherence to policies and audit standards.

Job Overview:

The Management Trainee – Store Operations is part of the Store Operations Management Training (SOMT) Program and is responsible for developing competencies in sales management, inventory control, team leadership, and overall store operations. The role supports store leadership in ensuring efficient daily operations, excellent customer service, and achievement of business targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Operations Management
• Support achievement of sales targets and business growth initiatives
• Execute store activities such as promotions, upselling, and customer engagement
• Monitor store performance and operational KPIs
• Inventory & Merchandising
• Ensure effective inventory control and stock management
• Monitor stock levels, shrinkage, and merchandising standards
• Implement strategies to reduce losses and manage slow-moving items
• Customer Experience
• Promote a customer‑centric culture within the store
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality
• Compliance & Process Management
• Ensure compliance with company policies, audit standards, and regulatory requirements
• Assist in documentation and reporting (permits, compliance reports, etc.)
• People Management & Development
• Support in training, coaching, and supervising store personnel
• Assist in manpower scheduling and performance monitoring
• Promote teamwork and employee engagement initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail, sales, or store operations
• With supervisory or leadership experience is an advantage
• Strong background in sales, operations, and team management
• Willing to undergo the Store Operations Management Training (SOMT) Program
• Willing to be assigned in provincial store operations
