Job summary

ABest Express Inc. is seeking a Management Trainee to join our dynamic retail operations team in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

This full-time role offers a structured development programme to prepare you for leadership in store operations. You will assist in daily operations, manage stock, support policies, train staff, handle inquiries, and analyse sales data while rotating through various store areas for a broad understanding of retail management.

Qualifications

• Secondary education qualification at minimum; tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce or Retail Management is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple priorities
• Customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
• Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing retail environments
• Numeracy skills and comfort with handling financial transactions and data analysis
• Leadership potential and willingness to take on increasing responsibility
• Physical fitness to meet the demands of retail operations, including standing for extended periods
• Reliability and strong work ethic with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Experience in retail or customer-facing environments is advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day store operations including stock management, merchandising, and customer service delivery

• Assist with cash handling, point-of-sale operations and financial reporting procedures
• Support promotional activities and marketing initiatives at store level
• Analyse sales performance data and contribute to identifying opportunities for improvement
• Attend training sessions and development programmes to build management competencies
