Universal Robina Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Technician to keep electrical and mechanical plant equipment in good running condition at our Laguna facility. You will perform routine checks, troubleshoot production equipment, and execute preventive maintenance to prevent downtime.

Qualified candidates have an Electrical Engineering degree with a professional license; Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred. 1–4 years in maintenance is ideal, though fresh graduates may apply.

1–4 years of maintenance/repair experience; fresh graduates may apply.

Responsabilidades

Maintain electrical and control equipment and troubleshoot production gear to keep it running.
Perform routine checks on running plant equipment to prevent breakdowns.
Respond promptly to repair calls from supervisors and operators.
Carry out preventive maintenance on electrical components.
Do wiring installations and related electrical works.
Follow GMP, safety procedures and company rules.
Inform supervisors about matters affecting repairs and maintenance.
Operate equipment as necessary and perform other assigned tasks.

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that all plant equipment in relation to its electrical and mechanical function and components are well maintained and are kept in good running condition.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for electrical and control equipment, and troubleshooting of all production equipment and auxiliaries to keep it in running condition.
Performs routine check-up on all running plant equipment to prevent machine breakdowns.
Responds immediately to repair calls from Production Supervisor or Maintenance Supervisor and/or Production Operators.
Performs preventive maintenance repairs on electrical components of equipment.
Performs wiring installations, electrical works and other related jobs.
Follows Good Manufacturing Practices, safety procedures and guidelines and Company rules and regulations.
Informs the Supervisor Line Maintenance Supervisor or Production Maintenance Supervisor on all matters affecting electrical repairs and maintenance of equipment.
Operates equipments and machines as necessary.
Performs other functions as may be assigned by superior from time to time.

About you

Bachelor's/College Degree, Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam), Electrical Engineering.
Licensed Electrical Engineer (preferred)
1-4 years experience specializing in Maintenance/Repair (preferred)
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Willing to work in Km 50 Brgy. San Cristobal, Calamba City, Laguna
Work Schedule: Monday - Saturday (shifting schedule)
