Job summary

Axelum Resources Corp. in Misamis Oriental seeks a Maintenance Technician – UHT Production to keep our high-volume UHT lines running safely and efficiently. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, and support equipment installation and improvements.

Strong safety focus and teamwork are essential. Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 1–3 years of relevant FMCG experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; hands-on maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, or food processing environments is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of UHT production equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues.
• Inspect motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, sensors, and other production equipment.
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, repairs, and inspections.

Job description

Axelum Resources Corp. is looking for a technically skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician – UHT Production to support the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our UHT production facilities.

We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and manufacturing operations, preferably within food, beverage, FMCG, or other high-volume production environments.

About the Role

The Maintenance Technician – UHT Production is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to minimize downtime and ensure reliable and continuous manufacturing operations. The role works closely with Production and Engineering teams to maintain equipment performance, safety, and reliability.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of UHT production equipment and machinery
• Conduct routine inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and adjustment of production equipment
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and technical issues to minimize production downtime
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment issues
• Inspect motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, sensors, and other production equipment
• Assist in equipment installation, testing, commissioning, modification, and improvement activities
• Support maintenance activities for UHT processing and related production equipment
• Identify root causes of recurring equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment breakdowns, repairs, and inspections
• Coordinate with Production and Engineering teams regarding equipment conditions and maintenance requirements
• Ensure proper use and care of maintenance tools, equipment, and materials
• Follow company safety procedures, GMP, maintenance standards, and established policies
• Participate in equipment shutdowns, overhauls, major repairs, and improvement projects
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability and production efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or related field
• Technical/vocational graduates with relevant industrial maintenance experience may also be considered
• At least 1–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, food processing, or similar industries
• Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance
• Experience troubleshooting motors, pumps, valves, conveyors, sensors, and related industrial equipment
• Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and instrumentation systems is an advantage
• Experience in UHT, food processing, beverage, or similar production equipment is highly preferred
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work in a manufacturing plant environment and on a shifting schedule
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Strong commitment to safety, equipment reliability, and operational excellence
