Job summary

The Bricolage Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to handle routine maintenance, inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance for warehouse and store facilities in Cebu City, Philippines. The role requires an Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree and at least 3 years in facilities maintenance, preferably in retail or fast-food environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repairs - perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections of the warehouse and/or store's facilities and equipment.
• Inspections and Testing - conduct regular tests and inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure good working condition.
• Preventive Maintenance - implement procedures to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity of systems.
• Communication and Collaboration - coordinate with team members, contractors, and vendors.
• Other related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance and Repairs - perform routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections of the warehouse and/or store's facilities and equipment. This includes tasks such as plumbing work, electrical repairs, painting, flooring repair, and heating and air conditioning system maintenance.

• Inspections and Testing - conduct regular tests and inspections of equipment/machines, and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. This includes diagnosing malfunctions, identifying potential safety hazards and addressing even minor issues that could impact the safety or functionality of the retail store's facilities and equipment.

• Preventive Maintenance - enhance and implement maintenance procedures to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure the longevity of facilities such as electric and energy systems, HVAC systems, generator units, and other systems.

• Communication and Collaboration - work closely with other team members, contractors, and vendors. Effective communication and collaboration skills are important for coordinating maintenance activities, reporting issues, and ensuring smooth operations.

• Performs other job-related tasks that may be assigned by his/her immediate superior from time to time.

Job Requirements
