Job summary

Landers is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to oversee requisitions, supplier coordination, and maintenance scheduling at our retail facility in the Philippines. The role involves supervising staff, ensuring safety and orderly operations, and controlling costs while keeping equipment in good working condition.

The ideal candidate has a college degree, at least two years in retail, and strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills, plus computers literacy to manage

Responsibilities

• Prepares requisitions for maintenance supplies, tools and parts.
• Supervises suppliers and contractors and communicates progress.
• Assigns tasks and schedules for maintenance staff.
• Ensures safe storage of supplies and equipment.
• Oversees cleaning activities inside and outside the facility.
• Monitors controllable expenses (utilities, overtime, etc.).
• Records equipment parameters (Genset, AHU, chillers, pumps).
• Executes preventive maintenance schedules for facility equipment.

Job description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares and makes necessary requisition of suppies, tools and spare parts for maintenance and facility use.
• Supervises, communicates and works with differnt suppliers and contractors.
• Supervises and make time schedules and job assignments for maintenance and facility clerk.
• Supervises the safe-storing/ safekeeping of supplies, tools and equipment in its proper position place.
• Supervises the cleaning activities inside and outside the facility premises.
• Monitors and controls controllable expenses (i.e. Utilities, supplies, overtime, etc.), including monitoring of spare parts.
• Records and monitors the equipment parameters such as Genset, Air Handling Unit, Refrigirator system,
  split-type air con, pumps, etc.
• Prepares and supervises the monthly, semi-monthly, quarterly and annual preventive maintenance, schedule/program for all facility equipment such as Genset. AHU, Split-type Air Con, Forklift, pallet jack, refrigerator, chillers, pumps, motors, and other small equipment/machine for bakery, meat, Food Service, etc.
• Executes training programs/s to subordinates to upgrade their skills.
• Leads, motivates, teaches and challenges the subordinates to work to the best of their abilities.
• Ensures that proper scheduling of work hours are prepared for all the M&F personnel.
• Evaluates the performance of the M&F personnel.
• Observes proper grooming.
• Practices courteousness towards everyone whether members, customers, visitors or employees.
• Practices proper decorum as per Code of Conduct and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.

Job Qualifications:

• College Graduate of any course
• 2 years of experience in retail industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills; computer literate.
• Decisive self-motivated, goal/result and people-oriented.
