Job summary

Kon-Tiki Hospitality Corp. is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented maintenance professional to join our team at Subic Bay Freeport Zone, Zambales.

This full-time role ensures our facilities remain in optimal condition and supports exceptional hospitality experiences. You will perform routine upkeep, respond to maintenance requests, inspect premises, and carry out repairs while maintaining records and ensuring safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance or facilities management.
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
• Ability to use and maintain maintenance equipment and tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour, including lifting, climbing, and working at heights.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, following instructions and working to deadlines.
• Valid driving licence is desirable.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in maintenance trades are advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and preventative upkeep on building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff and management.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential issues before they become problems.
• Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty equipment, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs completed, and equipment servicing.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimise disruption whilst completing maintenance tasks.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs as needed.
• Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and materials.
• Report significant structural or equipment issues to management for further action.
