The Production Operator is responsible for supporting daily manufacturing operations by operating production and packaging equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring that products meet quality and safety standards. The role requires someone who is reliable, adaptable, willing to learn, and able to assist with additional production tasks when needed.
Operate and monitor production and packaging machines according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
Perform basic machine setup, adjustments, and start-up/shutdown procedures as required.
Monitor production processes to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Check finished products and packaging materials for quality, accuracy, and defects.
Maintain proper production output and follow assigned production targets.
Identify and report machine issues, product defects, or production abnormalities to the supervisor.
Perform basic troubleshooting and routine cleaning of assigned equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area.
Follow company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), GMP, and workplace safety guidelines.
Complete production logs, checklists, and other required documentation.
Assist co-workers and other production teams as needed to ensure smooth operations.
Be willing to learn new machines, processes, and production procedures.
Perform additional tasks and other duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
At least 2 years of experience in machine operation or production operations.
Experience in operating food processing or packing/packaging machines is highly preferred.
Vocational/Technical course graduate is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of machine operation and production processes.
Willing to learn new equipment, procedures, and processes.
Willing to perform additional tasks and responsibilities when needed.
Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
Responsible, hardworking, and attentive to detail.
