Job summary

Accor's Raffles and Fairmont Makati seek an experienced Events Sales professional to generate new business, nurture luxury client partnerships, and coordinate premier corporate events in Manila's financial district.

You will lead proposals, conduct site inspections, negotiate contracts, and upsell event spaces, catering, and hotel services, while coordinating with sales and banqueting teams to meet revenue targets.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.
• Minimum of five (5) years experience in events at a luxury hotel is an asset.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate, train and supervise a team of employees.
• Experience with Opera and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Generates new event business through proactive sales calls, market research, networking, client visits, hotel inspections, industry events, and partnerships with corporate clients, agencies, event planners, and professional organizers.
• Builds and maintains strong client relationships by understanding business needs, provides personalized five-star service, conducts regular account reviews, and develops opportunities for repeat, referral, and long-term business.
• Converts inquiries into complete events by responding promptly, prepares tailored proposals and quotations, conducts site inspections, negotiates contracts, and upsells event spaces, catering, accommodation, and other premium hotel services.
• Achieves event revenue targets by managing an active sales pipeline, follows up on leads, monitors conversion and competitor activity, prepares accurate forecasts and reports, and coordinates confirmed events with relevant hotel departments.
