Qualifications

• With minimum Banquet experience of at least 5 years.
• Knowledge in reading function orders and banquet event orders.
• Knows different service and set up for function rooms and event spaces.
• Engaging, fast, efficient, and friendly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the setup of each event including checking the physical layout of the room, providing the team with proper set-up information, and ensuring correct postings
• Direct and lead a team of casual colleagues to deliver an event to the agreed standards
• Oversee the punctuality and appearance of all banquet service employees, making sure that they wear the correct uniform and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene
• Introduce and communicate directly to individual hosts, reviewing details and making him/herself accessible to the host for any need that may arise
• Handle, or relay to managers all guest and internal customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily
