Job summary

Alfamart Trading Philippines, Inc. is hiring a Logistics Warehouse Assistant in Dasmariñas, Cavite. The role involves receiving inbound deliveries, verifying stock, signing delivery notes, and maintaining organized warehouse operations.

You will coordinate with suppliers and customers, prepare orders, and ensure safety and cleanliness of the facility while adapting to shifting schedules, including night shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Office Administration, Operations Management or Business Management.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• At least 6 months of experience in logistics or warehouse operations.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy in handling stock and records.
• Strong time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Resilient and able to work under pressure.
• Flexible to shifts including night and early morning.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure correct stock type and quantity.
• Verify documents and sign delivery notes upon receipt.
• Maintain liaison with suppliers and customers for organized shipments.
• Unpack items and arrange on shelves as needed.
• Prepare client orders by gathering and loading stock.
• Keep the facility clean, sanitary and organized.
• Report breakages and spills promptly.
• Assist other staff during lulls in work.

Who are we looking for:

As a Logistics Warehouse Assistant, you are expected to perform many duties including managing inbound containers and verifying that they contain the right items. Checks invoices to ensure that service requests have been followed and creates and maintains liaison with suppliers and customers to ensure that shipments are received in an organized manner.

• Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stock are

• delivered

• Signing delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.

• Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.

• Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.

• Preparing our clients' orders by gathering and loading stock.

• Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.

• Reporting all breakages and spills.

• Offering assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.
