Magnolia, Inc. is seeking a Logistics Operations Manager for Mindanao to lead regional logistics operations through detailed planning, organizing, coordination and performance management of depot activities with 3PL partners.

Candidates should have a BS in Engineering or Logistics Management, 5+ years in supply chain management, familiarity with SAP and FMCG, plus strong analytical and leadership abilities; willingness to be assigned in Davao.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering, Logistics Management, Accounting or related fields.
• 5+ years in supply chain & logistics management with depot/warehouse focus.
• Certified Supply Chain practitioner is an advantage.
• Exposure to FMCG operations.
• Experience in ambient, chilled, frozen environments, preferably cold storage.
• Knowledgeable in financial performance analysis.
• Knowledgeable about Quality and Food Safety Standards (GMP/GWP/SSOP).
• Proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoints.
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Willing to be assigned in Davao.

Responsibilities

• Translates and cascades strategic programs into the logistics operating plan with 3PL.
• Ensures 3PL compliance and targets on CFR, delivery and SAP documentation.
• Oversees audits related to Food Safety, OSHA and Quality.
• Manages truck availability and transport for deliveries and transfers.
• Handles invoice liquidation and transmittal processes.
• Arranges external storage as needed.
• Provides training to 3PLs and resolves operational issues.

Magnolia, Inc. is looking for Logistics Operations Manager for Mindanao that will be primarily responsible for leading and driving the achievement of objectives of regional logistics operations through detailed planning, organizing, coordination and performance management of depot operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in any of the following fields: Engineering, Logistics Management, Accounting or any related courses
• With five (8) experience in Supply Chain & Logistics Manager with background in Warehouse and Inventory Management, Distribution Management, Third Party Management, and Manufacturing Operations in a managerial capacity
• A Certified Supply Chain practitioner is an advantage.
• Exposure to Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) operations.
• Appropriate experience in both ambient, chilled, and frozen environment, preferably on a cold storage operation
• Knowledgeable on Financial performance analysis
• Knowledgeable on Quality and Food Safety Standards and Guidelines and GMP/GWP/SSOP
• Proficient in computer applications (Word, Excel & PowerPoints).
• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.
• Proficient on both oral and written communication
• Willing to be assigned in Davao

Key Responsibilities:

I. Translates and cascades the company’s strategic and tactical programs and initiatives into the equivalent logistics operating plan to be jointly fulfilled with 3PL.

II. Ensures 3PL comply and achieve targets on the following performance metrics:

• Case Fill Rate (CFR) and Order Delivery Fulfillment
• Logistics processes involving SAP documentation and timeliness of encoding
• Programs and undertakings such as Customer , Internal and Regulatory Audits involving: (a) Food Safety; (b) OSHA; and (c) Quality
• Truck availability and Optimum transport support for delivery to Trade, Inter Plant transfers and Inter warehouse movements
• Invoice Liquidation and Transmittal
• Availability of additional external storages, as needed

III. Protects and ensures avoidance of damage to company properties and management of assets.

IV. Conducts Performance review of 3PL for SLA / KPI fulfillment as part of requirement for Audits, contract revisions and continuous improvement programs.

V. Provides directions to 3rd party logistics service providers and implements strategies affecting financials and costs related to Logistics operations.

VI. Identifies and ensures the implementation of measures to mitigate supply chain disruptions and impact on logistics activities through optimization plans and coordination with stakeholders to maximize order fulfillment given operational and force majeure challenges

VII. Serve as resource person in the conduct of training for 3rd party logistics service providers, as needed, to help address personnel competency gaps and help resolve issues or concerns in operations
