Job summary

Thermovar Pipes Sales and Services in the Philippines is seeking a Procurement Assistant. You will review logistics documents such as Delivery Receipts, and ensure accurate recording of delivery activities in the management information system.

You will communicate with customers regarding schedules and status, coordinate with warehousing and field personnel during logistics activities, and help maintain a feedback loop to improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any course; technical courses preferred.
• At least 1 year working experience in procurement or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Detail-oriented with judgment, accuracy, integrity, confidentiality and promptness.
• Team player but able to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, problem solving, negotiation, persuasion, active listening and time management.

Responsibilities

• Review and file logistics documents such as Delivery Receipts.
• Ensures proper recording of results of delivery activities in the management information system
• Communicates with customers regarding schedule status, updates, prerequisites and other issues
• Communicates with warehousing for advance preparation of goods
• Coordinates with field personnel, requesters during logistics activities
• Maintains a working feedback system with internal and external customers to measure and optimize for customer satisfaction.
