Position Title: Logistics Manager

Location: Metro Pacific Fresh Farms – Greenhouse Facility

Department: Logistics / Operations

Reports To: Head of Farm

Job Objective

The Logistics Manager’s primary role is to organize inventory stocks and manage the distribution of finished goods to customers, ensuring that the right products are delivered to the right location on time, in full, and at optimal cost. This position oversees transportation, stock control, warehousing, and monitors product flow from production plants → warehouse → customers.

Work & Professional Experience Required
  • 5–10 years experience in warehousing, inventory management, and outbound logistics operations, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Priority System or similar) for inventory, material management, sales, and distribution.
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or similar role, preferably in FMCG companies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, IT/Computer Science, or related courses.

Primary Responsibilities / Duties
  • Negotiate with carriers and reduce shipping costs through 3rd-party providers.
  • Monitor shipping reports and plan freight for outgoing goods.
  • Review shipping notices, bills of lading, and schedules to determine priorities and methods.
  • Oversee receiving, unloading, and storage of goods in warehouse locations.
  • Manage shipment processes, including packaging, labeling, loading, and documentation.
  • Ensure On-Time and In-Full Delivery (OTIF) by collaborating with sales, scheduling, and production.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical audits.
  • Prepare monthly logistics reports (OTIF, cost-to-sales, utilization, etc.).
  • Conduct team performance reviews and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze freight costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Schedule maintenance for company-owned vehicles and manage fleet utilization.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and ensure adherence to SOPs.
Skills & Certifications Required

  • Strong knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.
